Our foundation holds the title of "Data Supervisor" within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("Law"), which was published in the Official Gazette of 07.04.2016. We have completed the necessary compliance procedures to fulfill the obligations required by this title. WWF-Turkey will protect your personal data and process it according to your consent in compliance with the Law. Your personal data may be used for our foundations’ purposes of promotional and informational communication campaigns, to collect and compile statistical information and to improve donation efforts. In this context, you can exercise the following rights at any time by contacting our foundation, which is the Data Supervisor under Article 11 of the Law. Accordingly, our donors whose personal data is processed have the right to:
- Information about whether their data is processed,
- Information about the processing of their personal data,
- Information about the purpose for processing their personal data and whether this data has been used accordingly,
- Object to processing of their data that will lead to a negative results for the individual,
- Claim damages within the framework of the law if damages arise due to data processing contrary to the law.
